Lord Howe Landscapes

I am after colours when painting landscapes. Therefore sunsets are favourites.
I am trying different mediums: oil, watercolour, pastels, acrylics. Living on Lord Howe all year long enables me to catch the loveliest sunsets and cloud formations, lights and rainbows. Actually, when you live here then you are looking out for the difference as the island is so tiny and it is kind of the same look all the time to be honest. It is possible to be numb to that beauty or take a nice day for granted, but when you need to take a walk then you are always appreciative of the fresh air and blue blue seas, warmth of the sun and the smells of the wild jasmine or swamp lilies.
