Alphabet

This series consists of postcard-sized ink drawings on hand-coloured paper. Bigger sheet is painted first and then cut into smaller pieces. Within these abstract surfaces, shapes begin to emerge, suggesting forms that are gradually drawn out through line.
Each piece contains a “hidden” letter, though there is no direct relationship between the letter and the imagery. The combinations are intentionally playful, sometimes abstract or slightly absurd.
