Anna Thompson is a sole trader fine art studio based at Neds Beach Road, Lord Howe Island, NSW, 2898, Australia. We are committed to making our website www.annathompsonlordhowe.com as accessible and usable as reasonably possible for people with disabilities.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We aim to provide a website that is accessible to a broad audience. Our approach is guided by the principles of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and internationally recognised accessibility guidance such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
As an image based website, we may not be able to ensure that all areas of the website fully meet these standards.
As part of this effort, we have also
-
Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues
-
Set the language of the site
-
Set the content order of the site’s pages
-
Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages
-
Added alternative text to images
-
Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast
-
Reduced the use of motion on the site
-
Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content.
The accessibility of certain pages on the site depend on contents that do not belong to the organization, and instead belong to Stripe or Instagram. The following pages are affected by all the pages. We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for these pages.
Accessibility arrangements in the organization.
The workshop space is located in Blue Lagoon Lodge. The access from the road is wide and clear. There are several paths to the Studio, paved pathways plus a grassy driveway. The studio is on the ground floor and accessible by wheelchair. The studio is specious and can easily be rearranged. The light has been installed the way all spaces have enough light for working. I am happy to help in assisting any way I could to accommodate any clients with special needs.
Requests, issues, and suggestions
